Training for health professionals

Lactation Learning

For the last couple of years I have been commissioned by NHS Foundation Trusts to prepare and enable health visitors, midwives, neonatal nurses and paediatric nurses to apply for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiner’s (IBLCE) examination. These courses are delivered as one full study day a month for 12 months, and include regular homework to achieve the 90 lactation specific education hours plus 5 communication education hours required to apply for the IBLCE exam. These are currently delivered via Zoom.

I also offer a range of training opportunities from just a couple of hours to full days, and can cover a variety of subjects supporting Baby Friendly standards as well as more in depth topics to suit your specific requirements. These can be delivered in person or online via Zoom.

I am also able to facilitate clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions for infant feeding practitioners and peer supporters, either in person or online via Zoom.

Please contact me for further information.
