In the unforeseen instance of a study day having to be cancelled by Wendy a mutually acceptable date will be arranged as soon as possible to reschedule the study day. In the unlikely event of Wendy being unable to complete the programme of 11 study days any fees paid for study days not taught will be returned, minus £10 administration fee per study day per participant.
Wendy’s course has been designed to enable some flexibility for practitioners whilst earning lactation specific education hours. If a participant is unable to attend a study day every effort will be made to accommodate them with another cohort, however this cannot be guaranteed if other cohorts are not available. When no other cohorts are available Wendy will work with the practitioner to explore other means of gaining lactation specific education hours if needed to enable them to apply for the IBCLC exam.
In the unlikely event of a practitioner withdrawing from the course Wendy will accept another suitable participant in their place; when this occurs prior to Study Day 3 it may be possible to support the new participant to apply for the IBCLC exam at the same time as the other participants, however after Study Day 3 this is likely to result in the practitioner applying for a later IBCLC exam or attending the course for learning value only, depending on the circumstances.
